Bonding with Know-how and Certificate

摘要

A qualified market expansion (QME) for adhesives requires two key elements: improvement of the image of "adhesive" products and qualified personnel to use them. With regard to personnel qualification, a successful personnel training system has been established for more than 10 years in the German-speaking region of Europe by Fraunhofer IF-AM. This personnel training system is recognised, harmonised and certified throughout the EU, and covers all operational levels of adhesive bonding practice with DVS~®-EWF-European Adhesive Bonder-EAB, DVS~®-EWF-European Adhesive Specialist-EAS and DVS~®-EWF-European Adhesive Engineer-EAE. While these German training courses are carried out successfully in the Centre of Adhesive Bonding Technology of Fraunhofer IFAM more and more training courses in English are offered to worldwide participants. Because of the increasing demand of adhesives in the Chinese market these courses will be offered in Chinese language in Shanghai from 2007.rnThis paper reports experience of personnel training in adhesive bonding technology and discusses its characters with a brief introduction to the personnel training system in Faunhofer IFAM.
