摘要

Dynamic centrifuge shaking table tests of an unconfined sandy foundation are conducted under 50grngravitational fields in Tsinghua University. The tests were performed using a laminar shear box withrnplan dimensions of 0.5 m and 0.2 m, and the experiment system is subjected to strong ground motions-rnKobe wave and Parkfield wave. In this paper, the study focuses on the dynamic responses ofrnaccelerations and displacements. Also, the numerical simulation of the system is conducted. The matchrnof experiment and numerical responses in both frequency and time domain are satisfying. Meanwhile,rnthe main features of dynamic responses of the unconfined sandy foundation which are apparent in thernexperiment are captured by the numerical simulation, and the test results served as basis for calibrationrnand validation of numerical models of the system.
