Multiple Access and Dynamic Channel Allocation for ATM-Based Wireless PCN

摘要

A new multiple access scheme named Orthogonal Code Reservation Multiple Access(OCRMA)and a dynamic channel allocation algorithm named Dynamic Channel Release and Allocation(DCRA)are proposed for ATM-based Wireless Personal Communication Networks(PCN)in this paper.The OCRMA protocol avoids packet collisions,and the DCRA algorithm improves the traffic performance.From simulation results,we know that the voice capacity is increased in OCRMA joint DCRA system.Therefore,both of above the two techniques proposed in this paper satisfy the requirement of multimedia(voice,data and video)communications in the future PCN.
