摘要

Tourmaline is a kind of nonmetal minerals,which has been applied widely in environmental protection.It is proved that Tourmaline has spontaneous electrode effect and weak magnetism.Finished experiments indicated that tourmaline powder can shield electromagnetic radiation,produce ion negative and radiate far infrared.Conductive coatings which are mixed with tourmaline powders and other materials in a proportioned distribution can prevent from electromagnetic radiation about 16dB.The performance of producing negative ions has enhanced when the particle size of tourmaline is decreased to some degree,while it will drop off at some powder particle size on the contrary.In addition,the far infrared radiation ability of tourmaline increases with its particle size decreasing during the experiment.
