Energy conservation and emissions reduction mean cutting back on energy use and reducing the total quantity of pollutants.This is the only way to build an energy-efficient,environmentally friendly society.To ensure our energy security,and carry forward the adjustment of the economic structure and promote change in the mode of economic growth[1].Environmental auditing,as part of the modem corporate system,should play an active role in promoting environmental development,ecological construction and equilibrium,the improvement of environmental quality,energy saving,emissions reduction and many other goals.This article explores the significant role that environmental auditing can play in energy saving and emission reduction through environmental case studies and analysis.
