Analysis on the Integrity of the Construction Market Based on Evolutionary Game Theory

This paper analyzes the costs and benefits of the contractors and owners under different strategies which aims to investigate the evolutionary process of integrity in construction market.An integrity evolutionary model of the contractors and owners which applies evolutionary game theory will be established in the paper. Then analyzing on the equilibrium state of the model utilizes the Jacobian Matrix and Lyapunov Function. The result shows that extra income of contractors, cost and effectiveness of supervision, degree of punishment and so on, directly affect the results of the system's evolution. There are two evolutionary stable strategies in two cases.Under the certain conditions, evolution of the model presents the characteristics of periodicity. The owners should increase the degree of penalty, improve the management efficiency, reduce the cost of supervision and diminish the extra income of contractors, which are the methods to achieve win-win strategies in the long run.
