A Research of Technology Spillover Effect Produced by Increasing Wholly-Owned FDI in Beijing

摘要

On the basis of data of 1996~2009 from Beijing, the empirical analysis of this paper has been concentrated on the effect of technology spillover produced by increasing wholly-owned FDI in terms of local enterprises. The results of the analysis show that it has strong effects on transferred technological level from Wholly-owned FDI and less effect from other two ownership of FDI. As for technological spillovers, it has crowding-out effect from wholly-owned FDI, while Joint-venture FDI has played a significant role on promoting technological advancement of Beijing local enterprises.
