Analysis on the Collapse Reasons of a Multi-use Building's Retaining Wall in Kangding

Landslides are easily to cause the retaining wall collapsed beside. This paper analysis several main reasons of the multi-use building's retaining wall collapse in Kangding caused by the landslide by field survey, investigation of the design and construction information, the grade measurement by resiliometer which can test the compressive strength of the concrete level accurately and timely, photos provided by the owner , reference standards, norms and so on. The main reasons include inaccurate design which not abide by the relevant regulations , construction defect and the plenty rain during the rainy season. Also this paper puts forward some advices about rebuild, this can provide a reference to the similar project.
