A Study on Quantitative Standardization of Eco-compensation for the Hanjiang River Basin in Southern of Shanxi

Basing on the analysis of Eco-compensation theories and Eco-compensation standardization, the method of the calculating the total cost is discussed. According to the characteristics of water resource upstream and the investment in the conservation and protection of the water resource, we supply the method to calculate the direct and indirect costs and introduce the assignment methods of the water-sharing coefficient, the water quality correction factor and the efficiency correction factor based on the correction factors. In the end, we calculate the total compensation is 7.113 billion yuan per year and give in the ecological compensation and service area in the Han River.
