摘要

Failure of high-sulfur natural gas pipelines can cause various severe consequences, toxicity hazard of high-sulfur natural gas can bring about a serious public safety issues. So it is significant to evaluate the damaging range of the toxicity. With Gaussian puffmodel and toxic load guidelines selected, the paper simulated the hazard scope of continuous release of a high-sulfur natural gas and analyzed the influence factor by Matlab software;and it compared with the evaluation result of API pub 581 consequences evaluation model. By comparative analysis, it will provide a reference for the selection of quantitative risk evaluation models for highsulfur natural gas pipelines.
