摘要

In the previous World Winter Universiade the achievements of Chinese athletes were not satisfied. It is a best opportunity for us to achieve great success in the 24th World Winter Universiade since it is held in our country. As the important factor to affect the result of the speed skating, maximal oxygen uptake is widely put into sports practice to judge the physical endurance of the athletes. The researches in recent years prove that the results of speed and endurance events depend on not only the maximal oxygen uptake but the ingredients of the human body. And both of them are the important standards to measure the sub-maximum amount sporting ability. In order to study the relationship between maximal oxygen uptake and the ingredients of the human body we have taken tests to the nineteen excellent undergraduate athletes on active duty. So we can make a full preparation for the World Winter Universiade.
