Gas Control Technique Used for Extremely Soft Coal Seam with Outburst Risk

摘要

This paper deals with No.8 coal seam which is of high risk of outburst and has no protective seam in Luling coal mine.Aiming at this problem,thefloor penetrating boreholes were drilled to extract gas within a large area.Then the upper subsoam was firstly exploited to eliminate the outburst risk for thelower subseam,making the fully mechanized caving technique able to be used in this seam to realize coal exploitation with high output and high efficiency.This technique is of important significance for high efficient exploitation of extremely thick and soft coal seams with high risk of outburst.
