摘要

A novel method of nanocrystal ZnO in-situ growing on cotton fabric was studied in this paper. Nano ZnO crystal in-situ grow on cotton fabric cbated with SiO <,2> nano sol through hydrothermal method with the reaction between Zn (NO<,3>)<,2> and C<,6>H<,12>N <,4>. It shows that hydrothermal condition and the concentration of Zn (NO<,3>)<,2> and (CH<,2>)<,6>N <,4> have great influences on the growth of nanocrystal ZnO. The cotton fabric treated by this method shows good protection against ultraviolet (UV) radiation. It demonstrates that the UV-blocking property of the cotton fiber is increased with the amount increasing of nano ZnO crystals on the surface.
