There are many factors influencing topmaking. One of them is to match wool/lots before scouring process. To improve and stabilize top process quality, all bales of the farm lots should be grouped, then the raw wool be scoured by groups in turn. The grouping scheme should make the main parameters to identify between combined wool and individual group wool. The main factors should be considered such as fiber diameter, staple length, staple strength, vegetable matter base, prediction for Hauteur, variation coefficient of Hauteur and the bale numbers per group etc. A matching wool mathematical model for grouping was created on the basis of TEAM formulae and relationship between combined wool properties and farm lots. Through computerized artificial intelligent arithmetic, optimal grouping scheme is obtained. This is availed to improve wool process level and stabilize top quality.
