Automating Supply Chain Coordination

摘要

Coordination and negotiation are complex business activities, and are crucial to successful collaborative supply chain management. In this research, a coordination mechanism is proposed for decision support, conflict solving, and dynamically proposes solutions to coordinated planning and negotiation. The contribution of the research is mainly on the conflict solving approach based on transparent decision process to justify decisions and improve mutual understanding of supply chain partners. The approach improves current negotiation methods by optimizing global performance of a supply chain instead of pursuing individual agreement between partners. More importantly, the simple, domain independent representation for decision-making processes has the potential to be developed as a standard for facilitating automated negotiation in E-business.
