摘要

A generalized numerical scheme for the problems involving highly deformable free surfaces is developed based on combined level set formulation and multizone adaptive 3D finite volume scheme. The interface is captured by the level set function. The resulting scheme is capable of accurately and efficiently capturing free surfaces. Two complex problems of cross flow mixing systems are simulated to demonstrate the effectiveness and versatility of this new scheme.
