摘要

The objective of this ongoing research is to improve the communication, cooperation, and coordination that is necessary for design integration by developing a quantifiable performance measurement methodology. The methodology is structured around a hybrid model of state-space representation, fuzzy modeling, and expert systems. Significant progress has been made, thus far, in the development of the state-space measurement model, the fuzzy modeling of performance metrics, and the identification of measurable points in the design process.
