An Adaptive Filter Structure for Multiple Echo Cancellation

摘要

This paper studues the problem of multiple echo cancellation and presents a new adaptive filter structure which can cancel multiple echoes with a much smaller number of fulter coeffcients The structure consists of a multiple delay estimator and several short length adaptive FIR fulters with variable delays.Computer simulation confurms its improved performance as compared to that of the conventional FIR adaptive echo canceller.
