摘要

This paper evaluated the feasibility of two types of connections in concrete-filled twin steel tubes(CFTST)structure.The ring-beam joints were designed between CFTST columns and rein-forced concrete(RC)beams.And the vertical stiffener joints were designed between CFST columns and H-shaped steel beam steel beams.All the formation and feature of these connections were described.The experiments were conducted on ten one-half scaled specimens including four ring-beam joint specimens and six vertical stiffener joint specimens.Then some experimental data including typical failure modes,load-carrying capacity,ductility,etc.,were shown in order to express the good aseismatic behavior of these two types of connections.The behaviors influenced by the main connection components were also analyzed.The results show that it has a theoretical significance and application value to adopt these both two types of connections in CFSST structure.
