The blending method was used and some dressings with different blending ratio were made in order to overcome the drawbacks of the chitin dressings which are so expensive and the traditional cotton dressings which is poor breathable and antimicrobial property. The 732 visible-infrared spectrometer and JLQ-S1 colony counter were applied in the experimental. And some features of the dressings with different blending ratio and fabric structure, such as moisture permeability, liquid absorption and antibacterial property, were measured under the standards of the GB/T 12704-91, GB/T 20944.3-2008 and YY/T 0471.1-2004 and then their physical and chemical properties were analyzed. The results showed that with the increasing of chitin fibers in the dressing samples, liquid absorption and antibacterial property increased, while the moisture permeability decreased. Meanwhile, the satin structure dressing expressed lower moisture permeability, higher liquid absorption. In addition, the dressings with the of content of chitin fibers at 10% or 30% and satin structure could be chosen to meet different antibacterial needs. The satin structure dressing with the content of chitin fiber at 30% was superior to the other dressings in all above properties.
