INFLUENCE OF THE MECHANICAL BEHAVIOR LAW ON THE DRYING OF AN ALUMINA GEL

摘要

Some catalysts supports are made from gelified alumina pellets. In the manufacturingrnprocess, drying can be an opporteneous stage to improve both textural and strengthrnqualities. In order to ease the comprehension of the phenomena, the drying of a pelletrnhas been modeled with an eulerian set of conservation equations (mass, energy andrnmotion). A pseudo elastic law issued from rheological experiments has been used tornclose the mechanical problem.
