The Design Optimization of Emulsion Cooling and Lubrication System for Cold Rolling Mill

In China, the design for emulsion cooling and lubrication system(ECLS)of cold rolling mill converts from complete imjport from foreign investors to domestic self-integrationgadually.Baosteel Engineering Technology Group Co. , Ltd. , by means of the design,test and running of ECLSabout 3 emulsion system projects for cold rolling mill(two sets ard new projects and one is modifing project), we put forward the optimisations for process systemabout key equipments, such as the volume of main tank, temperature control and frequency control.. Running cost of ECLS has been declined and quality ol emulsion is improved through the optimisations. Ihe optimisation technology coudld be provided for the design about the ECLS of cold rolling mail as the reference in the future.
