In present woik , the hot band of non-oriented electrical steel was cold rolled with 30% , 55% , 70% and 80% reduction by conventional rolling and asymmetric rolling with speed ratio of 1. 125. Cold rolling textures are all mainly composed of y (< 111 >//ND) and a (< 110 >//RD) fibers during cold rolling process.The experiment shows that asymmetric rolling accelerates rotation path {001 } < 110>? {112} < 110 >? {223} < 110>, and retards rotation path {110} <001>? {111}< 112>? {111} < 110 >. As a result, asymmetric cold rolling tends to promote {111} < 112>component and suppress a liber, which is benelicial lor the improvement ol re crystallisation texture. The different textures evolution can be explained in terms of the particular shera strain distribution by asymmetric rolling.
