Development of High Strength Steel in Hot Rolled Strip for Oil well Casing

摘要

In electric resistance welded (ERW) steel pipe of API-K55 for oil well casing, low YR (yield ratio, YS/TS) in tensile property is required to meet the API specification. In this article, the manufacturing conditions of hot rolling to obtain the uniform microstructures and properties of hot rolled strip were introduced, and formability and weldability of ERW steel pipe were also investigated.
