ENHANCED CONSTRAINED ONE-BIT TRANSFORM METHOD USING ADAPTIVE SEARCH RANGE

A constrained one-bit transform that exploits adaptivernsearch range is proposed in this paper. This transform usesrnthe full search algorithm. However, it requires enormousrnamount of computation and complexity. In the proposedrnalgorithm, we utilize constrained mask in constrained onebitrntransform together with motion vector to determine thernsearch range for each block. Experimental results showrnthat the proposed algorithm reduces the number of searchrnpoints by 84% on average without any significantrnperformance loss in motion estimation.
