Pervaporation is an attractive technology for the seapration of water/organic mixtures, especially of azeotropic and close-boiling mixtures. Polymeric membranes have been limited to applying dehydration of alcohols because of their thermal, mechanical and chemical stability. Resently, particular attentions have been paid to inorganic membranes because of their high thermal and chemical stability. We have reported on excellent PV performance of NaA and NaY zeolite membranes for the separation of water/organic and polaronpolar organic liquid mixtures, respectively.~(1-3). In this report. preparation of tubular-type modules iwth zeolite membranes and their application to PV and vapor permeation (VP) are investigated.
