Hydrophobic and hydrophilic pore volume, pore volume distribution and pore diameters were measured using water intrusion porosimetry and mercury intrusion porosimetry. Capillary flow porometry was used to measure pore throat diameters and permeability under compressive stress. Pore diameters were between 20 to 100 μm and the throat diameters were between 10 to 50 μrn. Hydrophobic pores were in the range 10 to 50 μn and hydrophobic pore volume was 28.8 %.
