摘要

The principle of operation, theoretical basis of pulsernwidth modulation and capacitors voltage balancingrnmethod of a five-level modular inverter are presented.rnSeveral load scenarios are considered such as operationrnwith different modulation indices, load power factors,rnimbalance load, symmetrical and asymmetrical faults. Inrnaddition, a scenario with utility interface of storagernsystem is considered. Computer simulations in Matlab-rnSimulink environment are used to validate the operationrnof the inverter.
