Non Precious Catalysts for Fuel Cells - A short review on Moessbauer spectroscopy of Fe-N-C catalysts for ORR

摘要

This paper gives some general information on MoBbauer spectroscopy of Fe-N-C catalysts. After a short introduction to MoBbauer spectroscopy it is discussed to what extent the technique can provide useful information on the chemical composition of Fe-N-C catalysts in relation to its preparation procedure. Insight into the electronic properties of active sites and the possibility of in-situ MoBbauer spectroscopy are discussed.
