State and summary of night vision system with image intensifiers (hereinafter I~2) technology developed by JSC "Katod" are reviewed. Improvements in I~2 technology, achieved by JSC "Katod" may be divided into three full based directions: unfilmed I~2, I~2 with 25 mm photocathode diameter and halo-free I~2 with automatic gate. Advantages of night vision system (hereinafter NVS) achieved with use of the new technologies presented.
