Recently, the development of distributed energy resources (DERs) led to drastic changes in powerrnsupply systems. The large numbers of small generation units are now joining the system, which canrnmake the system controls become more complex. Since, the existing control strategy of historicalrnpower systems (conventional) cannot be rapidly changes due to the grid integration of these new units.rnThis paper introduces a multi level cluster of secondary control for the grid integration. The main controlrnfunction, frequency and voltage control, and control structure are adapted from conventional powerrnsystems. This proposed control structure is able to bring the grid integration; moreover, it can be appliedrndown to the unit level. This results the increasing of availability and reliability of the future powerrnsystems.
