Container pipeline pneumatic transportation allows to transported cargoes in any weather conditions and in any district with the minimal number of the attendants. At high capital investments it provides low operational expenses due to that efficiency is reached above, than at other types of transport. Productivity of work almost in 20 times is higher in comparison with care transport. In paper the design procedure of working parameters of the unit and a choice of the complete set of the equipment is presented. The technique contains: 1.operational calculation for calculation of diameters of the pipeline (2.3 m) and containers (2.0 m), thickness of walls (16 mm), quantity and speed of movement of trains; 2.the traction calculation, allowing to establish resistance to movement, the charge of air, quantity of working units; 3.economic calculation for definition of the cost price of transportation 1 ton ores. By the given technique calculation of pneumatic container installation for conditions AK ALROSA (Join-Stock Company Diamond of Russia) with annual production rate career up to 10 million tons, density of ore in about of 2.7 t/m~3, distance of transportation of ore from career up to factory of 19.6 km is executed.
