Software defined data center network architecture with hybrid optical wavelength routing and electrical packet switching

This paper proposes a software defined data center network architecture with hybrid optical wavelength routing and electrical packet switching (HWRE), which largely reduces network cost and power consumption and flexibly enables fine-granularity traffic flow control.
