Holographic elements used in optical heads

Abstract: In this paper, holographic optical elements (HOEs) used in optical disk systems are discussed. HOEs have been used to form several beams for detecting focusing and tracking error, as a beam splitter and a formatter of wavefront. It can also be used as an objective lens in the future. !4
