Methods of increasing the resolution of displacement transducers made by CCD line-image sensors

Abstract: The resolution of CCD sensors is strongly limited by pixel distance. For an application in high- accuracy position or displacement sensors it is very important to increase their resolution. The paper shows some methods to achieve a subpixel accuracy. The methods are tested by measurements. !3
