Jubilee Field Reservoir Description and Waterflood Performance Overview

The Jubilee Field is a unitized deepwater oil development located approximately 60 km offshore Ghana. The field wasrndiscovered in June 2007 with first production achieved on November 28, 2010. This paper reviews the field's reservoirrndescription, gives an overview of the static and dynamic reservoir modeling process used to plan the first phase of fieldrndevelopment, and describes how the uncertainty inherent in these models was reduced using dynamic data from long termrninterference testing conducted prior to field startup. Interference test results were used to evaluate inter-well reservoirrnconnectivity over distances of several kilometers in a subsea environment and played an integral role in the reduction ofrnuncertainty. This paper also describes the Phase 1 development strategy and reviews Jubilee waterflood performance.
