Electrochemical Evaluation of Scale Inhibitor TO Cooling Systems

This work describes a fast and economicalrnevaluation of inhibition properties ofrncompounds used in cooling water systems. Thernmethodology consists of Electrochemicalrntechniques, such as Chronoamperometry andrnVoltammetry to induce Calcium Carbonaternscalernon Carbon Steel and later to evaluate the freernscale area. In this way, it has been possible tornknow comparatively the scale inhibitionrnproperties of four compounds basisrnPhosphonate.
