摘要

Nuclear waste disposal is one of the major challengesfacing the nuclear power program, in which there is nosatisfying solution to date [1]. Cementitious matrices areone of the fundamental methods used for a possible disposalof radioactive wastes by mixing them with that materials,thus minimizing release of radionuclides into environmentduring handling, transportation, storage and disposal [2].Therefore, it is important to detect and analyze theradioactive elements captured in ceramic materials from thepoint of view of international safeguards.
