摘要

SAFIR is a program specifically written for modeling thernbehavior of structures subjected to fire. It allows determiningrnthe temperatures in the structure resulting from the firernand, in a subsequent analysis, determining the successivernpositions of equilibrium until collapse.rnThe main hypotheses, the possibilities, and the limitationsrnof this program are presented in this paper, as well asrna limited number of examples.rnThe equations are given for the determination of therntemperatures in the structure, as well as for the truss, thernbeam and the shell finite elements used in the step-by-steprnmechanical analysis that can be performed after the thermalrnanalysis.
