Picture Quality Evaluated Against Color Reproduction Ranges on a Display

摘要

Picture quality was evaluated against color reproduction ranges on a display in order to define viewing angle of Liquid Crystal Display(LCD) on the basis of overall picture quality. There found to be some cases in which, picture quality perceived when two of three primary colors decrease their saturation is better than that perceived when one of three primary colors decreases its saturation. We obtained quantitative relation between picture quality and saturation of primary colors.
