TENSION OF UNEXTENSIBLE THREAD AT A JERK

In this paper we consider the problem about the tension of a thread at a jerk originatingrnat the reduction of an excess. Such situation develops at the lining of weft thread onrnlooms and other textile machines, at disclosing parachutes and aerials.rnThe analytical dependence establishing connection between the tension of arnthread on a conducting edge and velocity of application of loading, parameters of thernexcess, length of a joined interval of the thread are obtained. Conditions of applicabilityrnof obtained results are defined.rnSpecific feature of textile machines is the necessity to produce highlyrncomplicated operations with the material, which has not a sufficient rigidity, is movingrnwith the large velocity and does not allow for large strains.rnThe tension of a thread is an important technological parameter. In particular,rnthe tension diagram gives an important information about the quality of technologicalrnprocess and about adjustments in mechanisms.rnIn the literature accessible to the authors [1], [3] it does not contain some worksrnon a theoretical research of a thread tension at its drawing on the weaver's machine toolrnwith projectiles.rnObtained dependences can be used as a basis for a solution of a problem onrnoptimization of functioning of mechanisms of a weft thread feed for weaver's machinerntools.
