The introduction, commercialization, and standardization of TEDS sensors in the modalrntesting community gives engineers in modal test labs the potential for great gains in bothrnaccuracy and efficiency in test setup. To capitalize on this sensor capability, modal testrnlabs desire seamless integration of data from different sources: the TEDS sensor itself,rnthe point of sensor installation, as well as the data acquisition system. This paperrndocuments how the authors have developed a system that integrates TEDS sensors,rnconsumer electronics, and standardized data interfaces to deliver on the potential offeredrnby TEDS sensors.
