摘要

An important characteristic of turbulence in the atmospheric boundary layer isrnintermittency (the tendency of turbulence to occur in bursts of activity). In this paper, wernderive formulas for the mean sound field and coherence functions of plane and sphericalrnsound waves propagating through intermittent atmospheric turbulence. Numericalrnanalysis of the obtained formulas shows that the increase in intermittency of turbulencernresults in increase in these statistical moments of a sound filed.
