IT Accelerating the Demise of our Current Business Structures?

Are our business structures out of date? Have they passed their use by date? Are we doomed to become another fallen empire because of arrogantly clinging to a dying organisational infrastructure? IT has accelerated the inevitable by accentuating the impact of an inappropriate outdated business model. The result is economies and the social infrastructures they breed, are developing stress cracks at an alarming rate. Whilst IT holds the power to implement the solutions to our over pressured western economies we need to first identify the true peril of our modern day commercial and organisational paradigm.
