Experiental access to language for the deafblind and deaf- mentally retarded

How to create access to language and communication for deafblind and deaf-mentally retarded clients? We discuss and show the process of using fine-tuned assessment and intervention techniques in applying multimodal AAC-systems, comprising visual, manual and tangible forms, including the use of four-hands-manual-sign system for the deafblind (the sender leads the receiver's hands through the signs).
