摘要

A new type high-flux solar simulator facility for the study of Dish-Stirling solar power generation system, is operational at the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The solar simulator, capable of delivering up to15 kW of continuous radiative power, is one part of the Dish-Stirling solar power generation system, it comprises twelve 7 kW high pressure short arc xenon lamps, all of these xenon lamps evenly arranged in two concentric hexagonal vertices, the two hexagonal side lengths are respectively 2 m and 3 m. Each lamp coupled with same model parabolic specular reflectors, all the lamps are mounted at the focus of these parabolic reflectors. Silver’s average reflectivity is over 90% in the xenon lamp’s spectrum wavelength range(250~2500 nm), in order to improve the parabolic specular reflector’s reflectivity, one layer of silver film is coated on the front face of each reflector. One cross-section diameter is eight meters parabolic reflector, on which medial surface high reflectivity mirror is laid, focus all the xenon lamps’ parallel light to its focal spot to drive stirling engine, the focal distance of this big parabolic is 5.8 meters. The radiation meter indicated the total radiative power is 15 kW in the 300-mm-diameter focal area, and the average flux is 305kW/m2 in this circular area. The optical structure design and operating performance are described in the paper. The solar simulator substitutes the characteristics of actual solar concentrating systems of Dish-Stirling solar power generation system and can be used as an experiment and test platform for solar stirling engine.
