摘要

The behaviour of carbon epoxy composites has been investigated by Dynamic Mechanical Thermal Analysis (DMTA). Different fibre orientations and sample thickness have been compared in order to optimize the sensitivity of the measurements. Several thermal treatments were applied to reinforced and unreinforced samples to evaluate the effect of exposures at high temperature. In addition, the effect of a reactive diluent was studied. Finally the thermal stability and the fibre content were evaluated by Simultaneous Thermal Analysis (STA).
