摘要

The chemical modification of SCB cellulose with succinic anhydride using ionic liquids as reaction medium was studied. The results showed that dissolution of the native cellulose in [C_4mim]Cl led to the degradation of the macromolecular polymer. Succinoylation of cellulose was achieved in [C_4mim]Cl ionic liquid/DMSO system, and DS of the cellulosic products increased with an increment in the molar ratio of succinic anhydride/AGU. FT-IR and solid-state CP/MAS ~(13)C-NMR spectra produced evidences for succinoylation reaction and the results showed that the succinoylation at C-6, C-2 and C-3 all occurred. The thermal stability of the succinylated cellulose decreased upon chemical modification.
