Novel FR Polymer Compositions

摘要

Flame retardant textile backcoatings are used in a broad range of fabric and non-woven treatments. This paper will discuss the continuing development of dibromostyrene (DBS) containing latices and their use in FR coating applications. The attributes and detriments of various coating components will be reviewed. A latex molecule that incorporates halogenated monomers and synergists will be presented as an extension of previously discussed DBS containing products.
