The present study was undertaken in order to obtain a betternunderstanding of cold plasma activity on a polymer surface. Thenexperimental modeling indicates a high pressure glow discharge in heliumnas the gaseous phase and hexatriacontane as the solid phase.nSurface-charge decay measurement is the method of characterization usednto evaluate the plasma activity; it reveals the injection of positivenand negative charges into the target. Neutralization seems to have andominant effect on the positive charge trapped near the surface and fromnthe charge decay measurements the treatment likely favors the limitationnof the leakage of positive or negative charges
